How to enter a design in a flower show

Floral Design Study is a nine unit seri es with the goal of developing an understanding of the art of flower arran ging for both the home and for flower shows. It is a two-part series consi sting of six classes covering basic floral design followed by three more a dvanced units which focus on creative floral design.

Each class begins with lecture and demonstration throughout th e morning. The instructor will create floral designs as she explains the r equired materials and techniques. Students are then given time after lunch to create their own designs followed by a discussion of each. Most units are taught by Penny Decker\, NGC Master Judge and Instruc tor.

Floral Design Study is open to everyone\, regardless of Garden Club membership. The only requirement is the willingness to learn!
